01What it costs

Clear packages, quoted individually

Capture Essentials

A focused session that replaces stock imagery with the real thing.

One-off project

Defined scope — quoted in writing before you commit.

What's included
  • 60–90-minute photography session
  • One Inverness location
  • 20 professionally edited images
  • Premises, products, services or working photographs
  • Website and social-media crops
  • Online delivery within seven working days
  • Commercial website and social-media licence

Full Content Day

A full day building a content library that lasts seasons, not weeks.

One-off project

Defined scope — quoted in writing before you commit.

What's included
  • Up to six hours
  • Approximately 100 edited photographs
  • Multiple agreed locations
  • Staff, premises, services, products and customer journey
  • Seasonal and evergreen content
  • Social-media content library
  • Image selection and website implementation consultation
  • Optional short-form video content may be available depending on the selected photographer and project requirements (not included in the base price)

Travel within Inverness is included; wider Highland travel is quoted separately. A 50% booking payment secures your date, and outdoor photography includes one weather-related reschedule. RAW files are not supplied — you receive professionally edited images. Video is not included in any base price: optional short-form video content may be available depending on the selected photographer and project requirements, and is confirmed — or honestly ruled out — at booking.

We price each package individually — scope genuinely varies, and a single published figure would either overcharge simple projects or undercharge complex ones. You always receive a full written quotation before any commitment, with VAT added where applicable, and travel, third-party subscriptions, printing, advertising spend and unusual integrations itemised rather than hidden. 02Who it's for

Businesses whose website deserves better than stock photos

Hotels, restaurants and visitor experiences whose rooms, plates and views are the product. Trades and makers whose craft is best shown mid-work. Shops, clinics and studios where the premises set expectations. Professional teams who want portraits that look like the people clients will actually meet.

If your current website leans on generic stock imagery — or photos taken on a phone in bad light years ago — a single planned shoot changes how the whole site reads.

03Coverage

What can be photographed

Every shoot is scoped around your business, typically drawing from:

  • Premises — exterior, interior, signage and setting
  • People — team portraits, headshots and staff at work
  • Products — in context and against clean backgrounds
  • Services being delivered — the real working environment
  • Details — the textures, tools and touches customers notice
  • The customer journey — arrival, welcome, experience

04Planning

Planned around where the images will live

Before anyone lifts a camera we agree a shot plan: which pages, profiles and materials the images are for, what each needs (orientation, space for headlines, consistency with your brand), and the order of the day so your business is disrupted as little as possible.

On Business Story and Full Content Day the plan is written and shared in advance, with website image-placement recommendations so nothing is shot without a purpose.

05Shoot day

Calm, efficient, and worked around your business

We arrive at the agreed time, work through the plan, and keep disruption to a minimum — shooting around service where you're open, and sequencing people so nobody stands waiting. Outdoor work is scheduled with the forecast in mind, and includes one weather-related reschedule if the Highlands do what the Highlands do.

06Delivery & usage

Edited images, ready to use, licensed clearly

You receive professionally edited images through a private online gallery — Capture Essentials within seven working days — in resolutions ready for web use, with crops prepared for your website and social profiles.

Images are supplied under a commercial licence covering your website, social media, and your own marketing materials. The licence doesn't cover resale or transfer of the images to other businesses. RAW files are not supplied; the edit is part of the product.

07Travel

Inverness included, Highlands by arrangement

Travel within Inverness is included in every package. For shoots across the wider Highlands — from the Black Isle to Skye — travel is quoted separately and agreed before booking, so there are no surprises on the invoice.

08Common questions

How far in advance should we book?

Two to three weeks is usually comfortable for Inverness; allow longer for multi-location Highland shoots or dates tied to seasons and events. A 50% booking payment secures the date, with the balance due on delivery.

What happens if the weather turns?

Outdoor photography includes one weather-related reschedule at no charge. We watch the forecast together in the days before the shoot and make the call early enough to protect your diary. Indoor work goes ahead regardless.

Do we get the RAW files?

No — and this is standard for commercial photography. RAW files are the unfinished negatives; the professional edit (selection, colour, exposure, retouching) is part of what you're buying. You receive edited images at resolutions ready for web, social and general marketing use.

How can we use the images?

The commercial licence covers your website, your social-media profiles and your own marketing. You can't resell the images or hand them to another business to use as their own. If you later need extended usage — advertising campaigns, press — ask, and we'll agree it in writing.

Can you photograph our team if some people are camera-shy?

Yes — it's the most common worry and the easiest solved. Portraits are scheduled in short, relaxed slots, shot in your own environment rather than against an intimidating studio wall, and everyone sees direction, not judgement. Most people are surprised by their own photos.

Is video included?

No — video is not included in any base price, and not every photographer offers it. Optional short-form video content may be available on the Full Content Day depending on the selected photographer and project requirements, and it's confirmed — or honestly ruled out — at booking rather than promised vaguely.
